She is the only daughter to her late mother Mary who was a successful educator who authored one memoir amongst other major accomplishments. Her mother had dreams of becoming a commercial artist. “Next to God, my mother was and always will be my greatest inspiration. I will always sadly miss you until we are together again.” Her father who did not raise her, held a PhD amongst other major accomplishments.

She is a songwriter, vocalist, speaker, videographer and lover of many different genres of music. She is an alumna of Howard University. She seeks to continue using her gifts to inspire the world as she shines in her own light!
