El DeBarge
On 8/13/2022, I attended The Ojays concert. El Debarge and Gladys Knight were the opening acts. El DeBarge was the first performer. I listen to radio stations which play old school R&B music. Most days, I will always hear an El Debarge or Debarge song on the radio. When he came to town, I had to go see him perform. I respect his musicianship and artistry. His voice sounds great to this day. He sounds like his records in live concert. I can tell he has a passion for music. When I saw him perform, he was a one man show. He didn’t have any back ground singers and he did not have a band. It was just himself, his keyboard and his backing tracks.
