USHER Concert in Washington, D.C. 2024

As many of us know, Usher postponed his first three shows in Atlanta due to an injury. Many people who purchased tickets, travel and hotel were upset as some commenters expressed their disappointment on social media. When tickets are purchased online through Ticketmaster, you are asked about insurance in case situations like this occur. But I understand that there is no reimbursement of the flight and hotel. It’s a chance we all take in hopes that everything will go as planned. But in the case of Usher postponing his first three shows, it was an unforeseen circumstance that became an inconvenience to many. I loved how Usher addressed his own disappointment on social media as he couldn’t perform as planned. He was deeply sorry and I am sure he will give incredible shows as planned for the re-scheduled dates. I myself got a chance to see Usher perform on his second night of this tour in Washington, D.C. on August 21, 2024. It was incredible, from the lighting, dancers, band, the whole production was wonderful. I gained a new appreciation for Usher that night. He is incredibly gifted and talented. His kindness shines through to the audience. I loved how he brought special guest from DC to perform: GO-GO Legend Sugar Bear, Raheem DeVaughn and Wale. The audience was so on fire the whole night. My experience is that everyone seemed so happy in anticipation of the show that night. There was an excitement with the crowd that lasted the whole night. I loved how I felt love throughout that night from everyone. Everyone I saw seemed so free. There was an array of fashion there and I loved seeing people’s confidence as they rocked their own styles.
