Maxwell
Maxwell is one of my favorite male R&B artists. I never heard a song from Maxwell that I did not like. His music moves me. His concerts are some of the best I’ve seen. One of my favorite songs is from his Embrya album. The song entitled “Know These Things: Shouldn’t You.” I sing a cover of his song for under one minute. You’ll see that video below.
Maxwell The Night Tour was very exciting. I went to the April 2, 2022 show where Joe Thomas and Anthony Hamilton were the opening acts. The significance of that night was that Maxwell was performing on Marvin Gaye’s birthday in Marvin Gaye’s hometown of Washington, D.C.
In my opinion, Maxwell is reminiscent of Marvin Gaye, Prince and that good old school R&B soul music. We have a legend right before us and he is deserving of the recognition, support and love. Here are some videos I recorded of Maxwell in Washington, D.C. 2022 during his Night Tour.
