Trying To Get Home

In the wake of Tyre Nichols’ beating and death at the hand of police officers, I am reminded of a song that I helped Barry Fletcher release two years ago entitled, “Trying To Get Home.” It is a song about a black person trying to get home but not sure they will make it if they get pulled over by the police. The world heard Tyre Nichols sadly say to police, “I’m just trying to go home.”
